Children: Charles Lavender, Sam Lavender, Julia Lavender, Silvia Lavender-Rice-Cockrell,
Jeff Hinton, Martha Hinton-Dunn, Caroline Hinton, Abe Hinton, Tom Hinton, John Hinton,
and Henrietta Hinton.

Little is known about Ned Lavender and his background. These are the known children I
discovered. It is possible that there were more. He and all of his sons disappear from the
records. It is possible that their names were changed. However, Eliza moved back up to the
Mantua area and lived, before she moved to Vienna in Pickens County.
